Denton County Emergency Services District No. 1 & 2 is excited to partner with the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) to bring affordable pet vaccinations and wellness services to our community!

TCAP is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving animal welfare by providing affordable veterinary services to pets throughout North Texas. Their team will offer reduced-cost vaccinations and select wellness services to help pet owners keep their furry family members healthy without breaking the bank.

What services can you expect?

TCAP offers affordable services that may include:

Rabies vaccinations Core vaccines for dogs and cats Heartworm testing and prevention Flea and tick prevention Deworming and other wellness services

Affordable care matters! TCAP's published pricing includes rabies vaccines starting at just $5, with many other vaccines starting around $10. Additional wellness services are available at reduced prices. Actual costs vary by service, and pricing and availability are subject to change. PLEASE NOTE: This event is FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED! Arrive early to help ensure your pet can be seen during the clinic hours.

Why vaccinating your pets matters:

Vaccinations help protect dogs and cats from serious, potentially life-threatening diseases. Keeping pets up to date on their vaccines also helps reduce the spread of preventable illnesses and protects other animals and people in our community. Rabies vaccination is especially important for protecting public health.

Pet safety is community safety!

At Denton County ESD, we know that a safe community starts at home. Responsible pet ownership—including vaccinations, proper restraint, identification, and keeping pets secure—helps prevent emergencies and keeps families, neighbors, animals, and first responders safer.

Unrestrained or frightened animals can create additional hazards during medical emergencies, fires, vehicle incidents, and other calls for service. Keeping pets healthy, secure, and properly identified helps our firefighters and EMS personnel do their jobs safely while protecting the people and animals we serve.

A few safety reminders for your visit: • Keep dogs on a secure leash. • Keep cats in a secure carrier. • Bring any available vaccination records. • Please keep pets under control and give other animals plenty of space.
